Message :1) OK, maybe I shouldn't make that conclusion without proof, but I would bet the farm on it. Its normal to pull the timing back on a car with NOS for saftey reasons considerably more than you would on a car without NOS.

Yeah, ash said his forthcoming full write up or pt.2 (i know he's busy) he will have the timing from datalogging for all to see. Then you will know which is more conservative. If you post your maps we so could all see them too that would be great but not really expected, but that is of no matter really - the point is they are both conservativly tuned on the timing end I just wanted to make that clear as it seemed you were implying otherwise above.

:2) Wrong, that is the original dyno-jet runfile uploaded directly into our dyno-jet viewer. Uncorrected it still shows me 666 rwhp, but when you click on SAE correction is does not (The SAE correction factor was not 1)
My understanding was all runs were 1 or very near it. Again here the point is that both car's numbers on your chart are SAE corrected so we are comparing apples to apples - I just wanted to be clear on that. As long as both sets are either corrected or uncorrected - it doesn't matter to me.

:3) Thanks, I understand that NOS isn't for everyone, but its nothing to be scared of if managed properly. I guess it makes it more practical and convenient when you have your own filling station and several 60lb cylinders in the back. No more trouble than going to the gas station, and not very expensive. We've never managed to hurt an engine with NOS and we use it very liberally on our own cars.

Nice, if I had those resources I might consider it myself. But, I obvioulsy do not. I realize the point of that car/it was built to be used with a 60shot of N2O, but if you have them - can you do an overlay of that car's best run without the N20 and include its best run from above (with N20) and slowninja's run too, so we can compare all three set of curves together?
A mod list for the above car would be helpful too.

Thanks for entertaining my input!
